Wellnessfind exists to make small, evidence-informed wellness habits easier to start and keep. Here's how we source, write and check what we publish.
Editorial principles
Every guide and calculator on Wellnessfind is written to be understood on a first read, without jargon standing in for clarity. Where the underlying research is mixed or evolving, we say so instead of picking the version that sounds most confident.
We do not present single studies as settled science, and we don't attach specific names, institutions or statistics to a guide unless we can stand behind the source. When a claim can't be traced to something solid, it doesn't get published.
Calculators are built around established formulas — like Mifflin-St Jeor for energy needs or the Karvonen method for heart rate zones — and we document exactly which one, so you can judge the estimate for what it is.
Process
Content starts from established, widely-cited formulas and general physiology, not single blog posts or anecdote.
Every draft is checked against its source formula or reference range before it's marked ready to publish.
Guides and calculators are periodically re-read for outdated framing or wording that reads more certain than it should.
Privacy & data ethics
The habit tracker, hydration tracker and calculators on Wellnessfind run entirely in your browser. Anything you enter — weight, age, habit check-ins, water intake — is stored locally on your device and is never sent to us or to a third party.
We don't require an account to use any tool on this site, and we don't build health profiles. If you clear your browser's local storage, that tracked data is gone — there's no server-side copy to recover it from.
Our contact form sends only what you choose to type. We use it to respond to your message and for no other purpose.
